Defeating the Pandemic Requires Direct Economic Relief for People Left Behind by Trump—Yellen Is The Right Pick For The Job.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Tax March declared its support for Janet Yellen to serve as Treasury Secretary as the confirmation process begins for the former chair of the Federal Reserve. To echo Yellen’s own words, the Biden administration must repeal the disastrous Trump-era policies that have worsened this recession and commit to providing ongoing direct economic relief to the millions of people—workers, women, minorities, small business owners—who have been left behind by Trump’s failed economic agenda.
