New Capitol Hill Ads Urge Congress to Finish the Job, Tax the Rich to Build Back Better
Washington, DC — This week, Tax March will blanket Capitol Hill with a new ad campaign urging Congress to pass the Build Back Better Act. With the historic, bipartisan infrastructure bill signed by President Biden, Tax March’s new initiative will include signage on bus shelters and other outdoor advertising around Capitol Hill to remind lawmakers that the passage of the Build Back Better Act is essential to support working families in America by finally making the wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share.
Tax March Campaign Director Sarah Baron commented:
“Now that the infrastructure bill has been signed into law, Congressional Democrats must move quickly to pass the Build Back Better Act. Millions of Americans are looking to the federal government for affordable child care, lower prescription drug prices, and paid family and medical leave. It’s time for Congress to finish the job and choose working families over the 1 percent. It’s time for the ultra-rich and big corporations to pay their fair share in taxes.”
“Speaker Pelosi has expressed her desire for a House vote on BBB before Thanksgiving. Tax March urges Congress to take this historic opportunity to deliver for working families and make a sound investment in America’s social infrastructure.”
