Tax March to Pause FedEx Ad Campaign in Wake of Shooting
WASHINGTON, D.C. — This morning, Americans woke to the news of yet another mass shooting, this time at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Tax March recently released an ad calling out FedEx for their opposition to the president’s corporate tax plan. Out of respect for everyone affected by this tragic event, Tax March will be pausing its ad campaign for two weeks. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless tragedy.
“Our hearts go out to the victims of this tragedy, their families and coworkers. The epidemic of gun violence that plagues this country has gone on for far too long. Lawmakers must act and they must act now,” said Maura Quint, Executive Director of Tax March.

About Tax March
Tax March is a grassroots movement fighting for a fairer and more equitable tax code, and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Our organizers across the nation advocate in their communities and in Washington for policies to tax the rich and invest in middle and working class communities. During the coronavirus pandemic, we are calling on Congress and the White House to deliver direct relief to working families, tax the billionaires and big corporations whose wealth has skyrocketed, and rebuild a stronger, more equitable economy. Join the movement on Twitter and Facebook, or visit us at TaxMarch.org.
