TONIGHT: For Sale: The Trump Hotel and Our Democracy

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Tonight, following reports that the Trump Organization is exploring a sale of the company’s Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., Tax March projected an image on the building to criticize Trump for consistently using the power of his office for personal gain—including repeatedly violating the Constitution’s emoluments clause.

On the projection, Tax March Campaign Director Dana Bye released the following statement: 

“Simply put, we’ve long known that Donald Trump has put our democracy up for sale. Today, he just made it official. Now, if we could just see his tax returns we’d see how much he’s been selling it for.”
